Flushing and purging a Geothermal Heat Pump System is very important to remove air bubbles. Air bubbles in a system will cause cavitations in heat pumps and loss of heat transfer. Creating the Header for Geothermal Heat Pump System for a new home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. 6 boreholes were drilled 300 feet deep, a ground loop installed and the boreholes were grouted. A header connecting all 6 ground loops were installed with reverse return which allows each loop to have the same inlet and outlet pressure.
