Ben West, Leadership Candidate for the Green Party of BC, interviews two young entrepreneurs in Vernon BC working on the sales and distribution of Geo Thermal heating. Provincial support for this important field needs more support from government. The guys suggest that pay back schemes be implemented to help people get them in their homes. Ben thinks BC should become a world leader in manufacturing and distributing these and other apporpriate renewable energy technologies.

Heat your house with solar thermal (hot water) collectors. You can buy them, I made my own. 1 square foot of collector heats 1 1/2 US gallons of water 40 degrees farenheit in Pennsylvania, USA in winter. The more collectors you put up the more water volume you can heat. Most people use one of these collectors for domestic hot water, showers, etc. I used mine to heat my house.
